Exhibition and Art Auction - Trace 2019
I'm delighted to be joining a stellar line up of artists in TRACE this year - a biennial exhibition and art auction in unexpected West End venues. It raises needed funds for Community Plus’s vital services, and integrates contemporary art within the community. The artists in TRACE are among Australia’s most important, and many have strong connections to the area.

Visit the art in a locksmith, a Vietnamese grocery store, book shops, a jeweller, a mechanics garage, and lots of other unlikely venues along Boundary and Vulture Streets. Then bid for the work online, with proceeds supporting the indispensable, indomitable Community Plus+ and their work with marginalised and vulnerable community members.

This year TRACE artists have chosen or been paired with an emerging, early or mid career artist. Their works will hang side by side, highlighting the creative support and exchange between generations of artists.

There will be two guided walking tours of the exhibition on each Saturday of the show (10, 17, & 24 August). Choose from a tour with curator Carrie McCarthy, and local historians Tim Quinn and Steve Capelin, or get a Murri artist perspective with local collective BlakLash or local architect Paul Hotston from Phorm Architecture. More details of my artwork here.

TRACE runs from August 8–24. Online bidding up until 9pm August 31.
