I'm delighted to be a finalist in the Redland Art Awards 2024. 

Redland Art Awards is a biennial contemporary painting competition open to all Australian artists, presented by Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland, Queensland. This years exhibition opens on Sunday 8th December and continues to Tuesday 28th January 2025.

" As the world around us is constantly shaped and we learn more about how plants communicate with one another; I ask the question - If plants could dream, how would they transform the world around them? Would house plants dream of sinking their roots deep in a forest community. Or would they dream of fresh mountain air and sky views, with space to flourish.

In Plant dreams – Chrysalis a walking tree surrounds itself with a cloak of green, a chrysalis with potential to transform material being. Plants can transform the way I feel, what would they imagine for themselves? "
